Gum Gully Barn has been lovingly built by the Jones family starting in 1998 and still going strong..... The barn provides a cosy, comfortable and convenient place for functions in an informal and highly atmospheric setting. The building is mud brick, with large posts, heavy beams and pre-used timber. Old artifacts add to the atmosphere. When you enter the barn, it feels like you have moved back in time. It is calming and relaxing, with two huge fireplaces providing old world charm and a delightful way of staying warm and cosy in the winter.

The barn can cater for up to 100 sit down guests for the slightly more formal affair, and in the summer the large covered verandah permits this number to be expanded substantially. Outlook from the verandah is on green paddocks running down to a gum filled gully and lazy creek.

We can host your wedding or engagement or any other kind of gathering that requires a friendly, unique and rustic atmosphere.

Historic Mont De Lancey...
Weddings at historic Mont De Lancey offers you the choice of either a chapel or garden wedding ceremony.
The St Mary's Chapel offers intimacy and charm in a traditional setting and can accommodate 70 guests. An organist can be arranged to play the 1889 organ and a bell-ringer to signal the arrival of the bride and departure of the newlyweds.

If a garden setting is preferred the gazebo or a special corner of the gardens are delightful options, with seating for a limited number provided. If the weather threatens to spoil an outdoor ceremony St Mary's Chapel and The Ray Oliver Gallery are available for a last minute change of venue.
Mont De Lancey's beautifully manicured gardens and historical building exteriors form charming backdrops for wedding photographs. And while photographs are being taken wedding guests are welcome to browse the museum and buildings. Bridal parties are also welcome for photographic sessions only.

Warratina Lavender Farm...
Warratina Lavender Farm is an ideal venue for a wedding ceremony in a delightful private garden setting. The garden is set beside the traditional Australian homestead with wide verandas.
There is a rose covered arch way for the bridal couple to walk through & an established wall garden as the suggested focal point for the Master of Ceremonies.
Seating capacity can be from 20 to 80 persons.
The area is marked off as a private area for the Wedding & all guests have exclusive rights to this private area.

Warratina is able to offer light refreshments to guests while the Bridal party have photos taken. There are many photo opportunities in the delightful gardens, through the lavender, amongst the roses, through the wooded area on the farm.

Set in the spectacular Dandenong Ranges, the new look Tatra has been recently renovated and is now specialising in weddings. It boasts a stunning new ballroom, which caters for up to 250 people. Montsalvat...
Montsalvat consists of a series of unique and distinctive buildings in the European style set in over 12 acres of parkland.
Justus Jörgensen was an architect and as a former student of Max Meldrum had spent many happy hours painting around Eltham. In 1934 Jörgensen purchased land and with his friends and students commenced the buildings that became Montsalvat. just 26 km's from the CBD.
A lot of materials came from the many beautiful buildings of Melbourne that were being demolished to make way for modernization. The addition of mud bricks, rammed earth, the local mud stone , bush timbers, and a great deal of hard labour, Justus Jörgensen's vision took form.
The Great Hall with its polished slate floor, large open fire place, wooden refectory tables and stained glass windows. Our blue-stone chapel with its picturesque pond or the long gallery and the associated pool area provides the perfect setting for a wedding, social function or business conference.
